WILLFUL

You know
if you become brave,
there’s really no telling what you could do.
The heights you’d climb,
the accomplishments you’d fulfill,
the bitches you’d bang?
The brain boggles.

You could be so much more
that what you currently are
if you open up the possibility
of the untenable.
No one here could fathom
what transformations you could effect.
You could be anything
– though just what
is currently beyond me.
It’s clearly dependent
on you being independent of fear
on risking what you hold dear
on being braver than you were
and choosing
to become free.
