that work is going to be ass.

Such is the case

I apologize for it.
I did what I could
but
well…
it was a bad day.

I hadn’t enough sleep
the sushi made my tummy ache
and no one was there to rub it better.
The central conceit was flawed,
false and foolish.

There are days when this happens.
Sometimes, your work ends up being sub-par
