She looks like you
sounds like you
and behaves
in much the same way that you do
but never quite so well.
She is your inferior
in just about every way
I can quantify
– something about her
was just off.

And she was amazing;
don’t get me wrong.
She was an excellent human
and a wonderful person,
and a fantastic kisser
but
she just wasn’t you,
you know?
