and works diligently
with what it has.

is what it is.
It’s got heart
and shouldn’t we all
have a little bit more of that?

Really,
the poem speaks
to the American ideal
better than so many others.
It comes from humble beginnings
but eventually achieves something far greater.
It’s ROI is truly tremendous.
