At this particular point,
I’m not too sure
just what I have left.
If there’s anything of worth
on offer
within me
around me
I’m surely unaware of it
and not at all clear
just how it could be harvested.

God knows
I’d like to.
I’d love to be able
to provide you
something of mine
of value
from my heart, my soul,
my mind
– anywhere at all.
I just don’t know what I’ve got
that you might want.

that you might desire
that I have left to give?
