Rue the Day

You’ll regret this, probably.
All major decisions
– all big changes –
are dangerous
and must be undertaken
with proper trepidation
because something will possibly go wrong.
Let’s go back: Something will absolutely go wrong.
It’s just important to decide
if the risk is worth the riches.
If the regret is less important
than the reward.

So something bad is coming
after what you did,
that’s for sure.
You’ll be punished for what you’ve dared today.
Let’s see now
if crossing the Rubicon
will win you your empire.
